BEAR GENE'S BIO BODY FUEL - VEGAN POWER
#Vegan #Chef #VeganChef #FoodSafety #Certificate #Health #Fitness #VeganFood #VeganLife #VeganCooking #CookingCertified!
Hi, Vegan and non Vegan Friends! Hey, it's your Vegan pal, Bear! How are you doing? I hope you are well and dandy!
ONE STEP CLOSER
Yes, I have done it! I have passed my Level 2 in Food Safety and Catering! I feel that I am one step closer to attaining my goal to be a Vegan Chef/Cook by the end of April the latest. The Food Safety and Hygiene was just a day out of a 2-week course in Hospitality - including the exam!
It took a while, but I have gained my certificate that's sitting proudly on my mantelpiece!
THE NEXT STEP
It won't be long before I start approaching my list of Vegan eateries in and around London! I am excited at the prospect of changing my vocation. I have become a little jaded with my current profession as a Graphics and Multimedia Designer. I like the idea of working in a team - miss the camaraderie that comes with working with people. This one man and his machine has gotten a little stagnant. Besides, today's consumer level applications for all things design and multimedia has made my job a little more difficult. Anyone can purchase a web design software and call themselves a web designer. Well, it's more involved than that but I think I have just about enough of people and their horrible design ideas that they want me to execute. Not only is design software cheap nowadays, you've got online web editors like Wix!
I don't think I am going to miss being a Graphic & Multimedia Designer very much. I will be putting my talents to better use in my own projects that I have lined up! The first project will be my Bio Body Fuel Vegan protein bars.
THE FUTURE IS LOOKING ROSY
It is great to feel that hunger in the belly once again! I can't begin to tell you how thrilled I am to be embarking upon this new journey that I am taking. I was a Salad Chef many Moons ago in the heart of London, Covent Garden; it was a great experience. I had it in mind that cooking would be a stepping stone towards my initial goal of being a musician. Oddly enough, when I wasn't performing any gigs and/or recording in the studio, I used to do cooking jobs here and there to make end meet. When I lived in Germany, the Fatherland of Electronic Music, I had a job as a baker for a brief period. I was quite good at baking. I baked proper German wholemeal bread; the kind that you could smash windows with! I can still remember some of the bread: Roggenvollkornbrot; Dreikornbrot and Walnussbrot. Incidentally, the bakery that I worked for, based in Mainz, was part of a health food shop. The bakery was situated at the back and the health food shop was out the front.
I guess I am coming around full circle.
Thank you for reading!
Love,
Bear XOXOXOXOXOXO
